The day is drawing near! Students now have 3 days to finalize, prepare and practice their pitch!
We will have a committee of six individuals plus some observers ready to hear the students.
I know Mr. Sellers has observed some real world skills being developed throughout this project.
My favorite comment thus far: "We seriously have to stay at $500 or less? That's it for the budget?"
Of course Mr. Sellers said absolutely stick to the budget. It has no doubt been a challenge but also an eye opening experience. Students have had to consider cost effectiveness and value!
Is it worth the money to spend one hour somewhere verses free?
Is the cheapest hotel really safe and clean? Where do you look to find the answer? (Trip Advisor!)
Should you eat out for every meal or can you survive on sandwiches and chips?
How much is too much for meals in a restaurant?
What sacrifices do you make to stay under the budget? What is worth keeping?
As the daughter of budget gurus, it has been a joy to watch how each student is learning!
GOOD LUCK to each group and I am so excited to see what you have to offer!!!!!
